What does Mellow Mint CBD tea taste like?

Mellow Mint has a distinctive bright flavor with a heady, soothing aroma from both Peppermint and Spearmint. The finishing note of the tea provides a nutty and warm flavor from the infused hemp and coconut. Mellow Mint is among our favorite teas; the sweet minty profile helps settle the senses, and can relieve occasional aches and pains while supporting healthy digestion. It’s an excellent tea for any time of day or night, especially before bed!

What are the benefits of mint tea?

Our small-batch CBD Mint tea incorporates two types of mint: peppermint and spearmint (though peppermint is actually a hybrid of two different plants, water mint and spearmint). Refreshing and bright, mint has been used for thousands of years for its pleasant and minty taste. It’s also rich in nutrients, is a good source of vitamin A, and antioxidants.

Even modernly, peppermint is widely used to help settle the stomach and freshen breath. It is a a flowering perennial and can grow as tall as 35 inches tall. Researchers have found dried peppermint in pyramids, some dating back to 1,000 B.C.. Since those times, it has been used by many civilizations, in both culinary and medicinal settings. More recently, in the 1700s, peppermint was widely cultivated in England, which further propelled its popularity and use.

Spearmint is similarly useful, and is commonly used to combat occasional stomach frustrations. It is also high in antioxidants and other beneficial plant compounds, and similarly is widely used for culinary purposes. Spearmint is considered to have originated in the Mediterranean, and was later brought to Europe and Asia. It was more widely established in American in the 1700s.

When should I drink CBD tea?

Mellow Mint works at any time of day. It’s naturally caffeine free. It can still inspire focused thinking midday. Before bed is also great, and pairing a cup of Mellow Mint with a good book will inspire rest faster than you can count sheep! We also love to enjoy Mellow Mint before and after a meal, just to freshen the breath. Remember, each bag can be used up to 2-3 times (and be sure to press and massage the bag with a spoon for maximum benefit!)

Ingredients

Hemp (cannabis sativa)
Aromatic Oregon-grown hemp sourced from USDA Organic Certified and 3rd-Party Tested farms. Considered “industrial,” with less than 0.3% THC.

Peppermint
Cool, refreshing & unmistakingly aromatic. Peppermint tends to both brighten mind & settle stomach.

Spearmint
Sweet & smooth, spearmint contains much less menthol than peppermint. Refreshing & inspiring.

Coconut Milk Powder
Freshly pressed coconut milk. Supports cannabinoid bioavailability & rich in iron, fiber & magnesium, and antioxidants like selenium.

Yuca Root
The root of the Cassava plant. Used to produce tapioca maltodextrin, which prevents caking & clumping.

Acacia Fiber
A water-soluble dietary fiber exuded from the acacia tree. Sourced from small organic farms.
