Important Update for California Customers

CBD.market offers products from many CBD brands, and our California customers have always been an important part of our community.
We want to let you know about a regulatory change in California that will affect which hemp-derived products can be shipped to addresses in the state. Under updated hemp rules, products containing detectable THC may no longer qualify for sale or shipment to California through online retailers and marketplaces.
Because of these changes, CBD.market will not be able to ship ingestible full spectrum CBD products with detectable THC to California customers.
Why is CBD.market making this change?
California Governor Newsom signed Assembly Bill No. 8 (AB8) into law on October 2, 2025. AB8 establishes new manufacturing, licensing and distribution requirements for industrial hemp raw extract.
This is not a change we wanted to make. We understand that many customers have found products they trust and use regularly. However, CBD.market is required to follow California law and make sure that products shipped to California meet the state’s updated requirements.
When does the change take effect?
Starting July 1, 2026, CBD.market will no longer be able to ship full spectrum CBD products containing THC to California addresses.
After that date, California customers will still be able to shop for eligible products in our store, including:
- CBD isolate products
- Broad spectrum CBD products, which contain non-detectable levels of THC and comply with California state regulations.
To make this transition easier, CBD.market will help customers identify products that can still be shipped to California. If your cart contains a product that is not eligible for shipment to California, you may be able to replace it with a compliant alternative or remove it from your cart before checkout.
Moving Forward Together
For California customers, our focus remains the same:
- to provide clear product information,
- to give access to third-party lab results,
- to offer a wide selection of trusted CBD products that meet applicable requirements.
CBD.market will continue helping California customers through this transition. We have thousands of product options on our marketplace now that are compliant with AB8. You can still access natural wellness products that you have come to depend on.
The state agencies responsible for interpreting and implementing hemp regulations are the California Department of Public Health and the Department of Cannabis Control. Questions concerning the laws and associated regulations should be directed to them. CBD.market is available to answer questions about the products on our website.

FAQs
Can California customers still order CBD products from CBD.market?
Yes, you can still order CBD products as long as they are broad spectrum with undetectable THC or isolate, which is pure CBD.
If you have questions about any products on CBD.market, a customer representative is happy to help.
Can I use products I already purchased?
Yes, you can still use the products you have already purchased. AB 8 and SB 378 apply to businesses producing and selling products containing THC. The laws do not address products that consumers have already purchased.
Will owning full spectrum CBD products become illegal?
No, you can own full spectrum CBD products after July 1, 2026. However, you will no longer be able to purchase these products, either in stores or online.
What happens to my subscription?
If you have a subscription to full spectrum CBD products, they will need to be replaced with broad spectrum CBD or isolate CBD products. We cannot ship full spectrum CBD products to California.
