What does Peppermint Treat taste like?

Peppermint Chocolate Treat is sweeter than our mushroom-infused Chocodelic Trip, and has a bright peppermint finish. In combination with the deep, dark and velvety Dutch Chocolate, this cocoa is bold yet balanced, with no aftertaste of cannabinoid extract.

Dutch Cocoa also contains high amounts of Vitamin B, Riboflavin and Vitamin K. It also contains minerals like magnesium, potassium, and zinc. Like all chocolate, Dutch Cocoa also is considered slightly euphoric!

What is Dutch Cocoa?

During the 18th Century, the Dutch controlled virtually all of the cocoa trade, and Amsterdam developed into the one of the most important ports of the trade of the commodity. The Dutch also established initiatives for the processing of cocoa that are still in place today, and this is where the name comes into play. During this time, chemist Coenraad Van Houten invented a press that removes the fat from cocoa pods to certain degrees, and developing this process marked the creation of “Dutch” cocoa. Van Houten also invented a way to treat the cocoa with alkaline salts that removed the bitter flavor and made the cocoa more water-soluble, this is the process known as “Dutch Process Chocolate”.

When should I drink CBD cocoa?

Dutch Cocoa is packed with a significant nutritional profile, including high amounts of vitamin B, riboflavin, thiamin as well as vitamin K. It also contains minerals like magnesium, potassium, and zinc.

Cane Sugar
100% organic cane sugar, ideal for sweetening and balance bitters. Non-GMO and cultivated in accordance with sustainability principals.

Vanilla Bean Extract
Certified organic vanilla essence. Sourced from vanilla bean, and free from solvents, artificial preservatives, synthetic emulsifiers, and artificial processing aids.

Peppermint Flavor
Spray-dried, non-GMO peppermint flavor powder. NAT/WONF Real Peppermint Flavoring — only sourced from real, natural peppermint sources.

Soy Lecithin
Our non-GMO soy lecithin is used as a natural emulsifier to promote fluidity in chocolates, helping bind the cocoa solids and sugar, so they stick to the cocoa butter.

CBD Isolate
Pure isolated CBD, sourced from certified US-grown industrial hemp. Tested for purity, contaminants & potency.
