PRODUCTION PROCESS

So far I have noticed an improvement in my pups’ symptoms. I have four dogs all with different needs. I bought the this particular Lazarus oil because it was made with salmon and pollack oils thinking that the flavor and smell would be preferable to my pups than the one with coconut oil which had a stronger CBD smell to it.
But after researching CBD Oils for dogs, I learned that the oil with the MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) coconut oil has better bioavailability which means it absorbs better and faster resulting in quicker results. Fish oils are considered LCT (Long Chain Triglycerides) and take twice as long to absorb. So I am wondering why Lazarus Naturals doesn’t simply make both varieties with MCT oil and then flavor them with bacon, chicken or other flavors that the dogs would welcome.

You said that the 1 ml (20 mg CBD) dose is a single dose for the day yet the label says “Give one serving every 6 – 10 hours based on the serving chart” which for my dog says 1 ml or 20 mg of CBD oil. In my efforts to get some clarity, I have read several different “pet CBD oil” websites and many of them say that CBD doses vary based on mild, medium or strong. Mild being .25 mg per 10 lb of body weight, medium being .50 mg per 10 lb of body weight or strong .75 – 1 mg per 10 lb of body weight. This particular dog has severe osteo********* so I’ve been giving her the strong dose which would be closer to 75 mg per day. Am I misunderstanding what I’m reading and giving her too much? I want to get this right for her and my other pups which I am also treating for seizures and some situational anxiousness.

You could choose to give that 1 ml once a day or split it into two or more doses throughout the day (e.g., 0.5 ml in the morning and 0.5 ml in the evening). Just make sure the total amount during the day don’t exceed the recommended dosage based on your dog’s weight. It’s a good idea to monitor your pet’s reaction and adjust the dosage.
