HOW IS CBDA DIFFERENT FROM REGULAR CBD?

CBDa is found in raw, freshly harvested hemp plants and is the natural acidic precursor to CBD. Preserving CBDa requires cold temperatures and careful attention to detail during harvesting and production. Research suggests that CBDa may have different therapeutic benefits than CBD because it has a different chemical structure.

WHERE DOES CBDA COME FROM?

CBDa comes straight from the flower of the hemp plant just like the rest of the full spectrum of cannabinoids. Most hemp plants contain high levels of CBDa, which are converted into CBD through decarboxylation, which involves heating the extract. By skipping this step and keeping temperatures low throughout the process, we are able to preserve CBDa in its natural, raw state.

DOES CBDA REQUIRE COLD STORAGE?

No you don’t need to refrigerate your CBDa oil, you can store your CBDa oil at room temperature. CBDa is harvested and processed at cold temperatures, but the end product will not be impacted unless left in the heat for extended periods of time. As long as you store your CBDa oil at room temperature in a dark and dry area, you won’t experience any degradation of the product.

WILL CBDA MAKE ME HIGH?

CBDa is non-psychoactive and will not cause you to feel high. Even though our products contain up to 2mg of THC per serving, this is not enough to be psychoactive when taken in combination with CBD or CBDa.

IS THIS A FULL SPECTRUM CBD PRODUCT WITH THC?

Yes, all Cornbread Hemp products, including our CBDa products, are full spectrum and contain up to 2mg of THC per serving. This is below the federal legal limit of 0.3% THC, which is why we can ship to all 50 states and territories.

WHERE CAN I SEE THE CBDA ON THE LAB REPORT?

You can see the CBDa on your lab report right below the CBD line. Most full spectrum CBD products do not contain CBDa because it gets converted to CBD during the decarboxylation process. However, we’ve carefully crafted our CBDa products to be able to preserve the CBDa without decarboxylating it into CBD.

IS CBDA NATURAL?

CBDa is the natural acidic precursor to CBD, meaning CBDa turns into CBD as the plant ages. CBDa is 100% natural and is found in fresh, raw cannabis flowers that have been carefully maintained and harvested for quality.

HOW DO YOU USE CBDA?

Because CBDa is sensitive to heat, we only make our CBDa products in oil form to preserve the cannabidiolic acid in its natural state. This means we can’t make CBDa products that involve heat during the production process, which is why we don’t produce a CBDa gummy. To take your CBDa daily, administer a full dropper of oil under your tongue and hold for at least 60 seconds to allow the CBDa oil to absorb sublingually through the capillaries under your tongue.

HOW LONG DOES CBDA TAKE TO WORK?

Take your CBDa oil consistently every day for at least two weeks before coming to a conclusion on whether or not you should up your dosage. CBDa is no different from any of our other products in terms of how long it takes to work – give your body plenty of time to adjust.

HOW LONG DOES CBDA LAST?
