Can I Use CBD Cream with Other Medications?

CBD by itself can be paired with any topical medication, which is why our CBD topicals do contain medicines, such as Recover’s histamine dihydrochloride. However, the histamine dihydrochloride should not be combined with other topical treatments, although you can bolster it with ingested medicine if you like.

Does CBD Cream Get in Your Bloodstream?

Topical CBD does not enter the bloodstream unless it’s in the form of a transdermal patch. Therefore you won’t experience systemic benefits like mood and sleep improvement from using CBD cream, but it does allow you to target CBD’s soothing properties to certain areas of your body.

Does CBD Cream Show in a Drug Test?

Because CBD cream doesn’t get into your bloodstream, it’s not going to appear in any sort of blood or body fluid test. However, most drug tests aren’t looking for CBD anyway – they’re designed to find traces of THC, and Recover is THC-free.*

How Long Will CBD Cream Relieve Discomfort?

Can I Use Recover CBD Cream with Other Topicals?

You can use any of our CBD topicals at the same time that you use Recover, but we advise against using another medicated topical at the same time in the same spot, because the active ingredients work in different ways. For instance, Recover creates a warming sensation while CBD Freeze contains menthol that works by creating a cooling effect. Be mindful of combining products, and find the right routine that works best for you!
