Description

CBD & Mushroom-Infused Instant Coffee

This is not your average cup of coffee. Forager’s Java is a bold blend of Arabica coffee beans, cold brewed and then spray-dried into instant crystals, plus powerful functional mushrooms. Each cup provides a smooth & rich coffee flavor that’s complemented by invigorating fungi, including Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Lion’s Mane. This instant coffee comes ready to drink – just stir into your favorite milk or water, and enjoy hot or iced!

Each serving contains an estimated 600mg mushroom extract per serving.
6 Servings Per Bag • Estimated 20mg CBD per serving.

What does Forager’s Java taste like?

Forager’s Java is made with Arabica cold-brew crystals. Unlike standard instant coffee, our unique cold brew preparation provide a smoother, more rich coffee flavor with less acidity. It’s finished with a delicate sweetness from coconut sugar and coconut milk, to complement the earthy and (slightly) bitter taste of four powerful mushrooms.

What is Cold Brew?

Cold Brew is a coffee brewing method that involves steeping coffee grounds in cold water for an extended period of time, usually 12-24 hours. This results in a smoother and less acidic coffee, with typically lower caffeine content than traditional hot-brewed coffee. Our cold brew is expertly prepared, then spray dried into easy-to-dissolve granules that mix perfectly into hot or cold water (for iced preparations, we suggest fully dissolving this mix into warm water, then pouring over ice to chill).

It’s doesn’t stop there though! Next we add four functional mushrooms: Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Lion’s Mane.

What are the benefits of Chaga?

Chaga mushroom has been traditionally used in Russian and Eastern European practices for its beneficial properties, and primarily to support a healthy immune system. This dark fungus is found on Birch trees (our Chaga is wild harvested) and is rich in beta-glucans, which have been shown to support the immune system, although more research is needed in this area.

What are the benefits of Reishi?

Reishi mushroom is colorful mushroom known for its adaptogenic properties. Adaptogens are often considered to help the body to adapt and maintain balance. It has also been used in traditional Chinese practice for its ability to support a healthy immune system.

What are the benefits of Cordyceps?

Cordyceps mushroom has been used in traditional Chinese and Tibetan practices for centuries for its energy-boosting and mental focus effects. It has also been shown to have potent antioxidant properties, and may also support healthy athletic performance.

What are the benefits of Lion’s Mane?

Lion’s Mane Mushroom is favored due to its use in cognitive-enhancement, particularly supporting concentration. Alongside these other mushrooms and cold brew, Lion’s Mane helps support a focused mind without the jitters of excessive caffeine.

At first, I was surprised at the blend of mushrooms and CBD, but the combo was great, offering clarity without the usual coffee crash. It’s an acquired taste, though, not for the faint of heart
